Senior Pastor

Marty Grainger

Marty has been Senior Pastor at Cedar Grove since October 2007. He was born in Thomasville, NC and grew up in the Archdale/Trinity area. Marty rededicated his life to the Lord in 1995, and made a public acknowledgement in March 2000 that God had called him into full time ministry. He received his BA in Biblical Studies from Piedmont Bible College and his Masters in Biblical Studies from Piedmont International Graduate School. He is currently working on a Advanced Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist University. Marty and his wife, Anita, have been married since 1983. They have two adult children and five precious grandchildren.

Deacons

Wayne Brewer

Wayne currently serves as chairman of our deacons. He graduated Southwest High School and married his sweetheart Denise. Wayne received Christ as his Savior at an early age and was later baptized at Cedar Grove. He and Denise have been long-time members at Cedar Grove serving in many roles. He enjoys singing and helping others when the need arises. Wayne and Denise have participated in mission trips to St. Vincent and to Jamaica.

Larime Glass

Larime Glass was saved at age 12 and surrendered his life to serving God at age 27. He enjoys teaching the Bible and is currently leading an adult Sunday School class. He has recently answered God's call to preach and is now attending Liberty University online pursuing a Biblical Studies degree. Larime married his wife Tabitha in 2003; they have two children who both desire to serve the Lord.
